About
About the team
Samantha Tonge founded Labrakita Marketing in 2019 after 15 years working in marketing departments in engineering and technical sectors. As a Chartered Marketer, she's helped businesses from ambitious scale-ups to multinational corporations connect with customers and accelerate growth.
Erik Muggridge joined as Digital Director in 2025, with over 10 years' experience in web development across both agencies and client-side roles. He brings technical expertise and a proven track record of leading substantial digital projects.
What we do
We specialise in marketing strategy and digital for the engineering sector. Whether you're based in Scotland or operating globally, we help you build a strong market presence that drives both immediate opportunities and long-term growth.
What is a Labrakita?
Our company is named after Ty, our Labrador/Akita cross who joined us from rescue in 2016. Despite being over ten years old, he still thinks he's a puppy. He still has boundless enthusiasm, loves zoomies and can still be a bit cheeky, but we wouldn't have him any other way.
B2B Marketing Services
Marketing strategy
Marketing strategy
Even established businesses need to reassess their brand & messaging every few years. Your brand is the essence of who you are and what you represent to customers. Labrakita can work with you to establish your brand proposition and help you communicate who you are and what you do to customers.
Marketing strategy
Fractional CMO
Many engineering businesses don't need a full-time marketing director, but they do need senior strategic thinking. We provide experienced marketing leadership on a flexible basis, giving you access to expertise that would typically cost six figures, scaled to match your actual requirements.
Websites
Websites
Your website is the digital space you own and often the first place potential customers look when checking you out. It needs to represent your brand professionally, be easy to navigate, and actually convert visitors into enquiries. Whether you need a complete rebuild or strategic improvements to an existing site, we'll ensure your website delivers results.
Content
Content
Great content demonstrates your expertise, educates your audience and builds trust over time. From blog posts and white papers to case studies and social media, we create content that strengthens your brand and helps potential customers understand why you're the right choice.
Marketing insights
Marketing consultancy
Labrakita can work for you on a consultancy basis to help you focus your marketing in the right direction and keep you on track. This can range from a one-off consultation day to several days per month.
Employer branding
Employer branding
Engineering talent is scarce and selective. Competition for skilled people is fierce, whether you're trying to attract new employees or retain the ones you have. We help you articulate what makes you a great place to work, showcase your culture authentically, and communicate why talented people should choose you and stay with you.
